Review of Amnesia

Why did I give amnesia such a generous 8? Let me answer for you. Story = 8 I gave the story 8 because its unique. If the anime was 26 episodes I have a feeling this anime would have been like more as they'd have more time to explain and make people who havent played the game understand. But the plot itself is interesting. Art= 9 I loved the Art, they done the characters well and there eyes were amazing, specially since anime eyes usually are the thing that sets their emotions across. Im a fan of Toma and I like the way they done his design, and Shins.But of course the actual clothing, no one would wear. But its anime, anyone can wear anything. Oh and the backgrounds look well done too.

Sound = 8
I liked the sound. The opening and ending were well done. The Ost's of the anime was really soft and nice to listen too.

Character = 7
I understand its hard to adapt a otome game but still...They could have explained the characters better. They missed out on some of Shins background, missed A LOT on Toma and missed a lot on Ukyo too. It kind of hurts since people who wont play the game will have a permanent opinion on the characters just by the anime when the otome game itself explains better...

Enjoyment = 8
It depends really, I understood the anime that's why I enjoyed it a fair amount.
Toma's route is all about him and his jealousy towards Ikki and his protectiveness so more of the jealous route.
Shin's is basically Sherlock Homes thanks to his route being a mystery.
Ikki's route bases on the whole fangirl theme and its more in depth with Rika
Kent's is more logical and inexperience.
Ukyo is the truth route, more of a fantasy theme then all of them

I liked this anime, I just wished it had more episodes, because as I said before It may have turned out better. I also hoped they'd go more in depth with the characters. But I did have high expectations for this show since the other otome adaption, Hakuouki, was amazing.
But if you want to understand this anime id suggest reading the routes by a blogger since this anime does, basically, a quick summary on the routes.
Would I recommend? Only to people who are a die hard fan of amnesia or have read the routes, otherwise it'd get confusing.
