Review of A Lull in the Sea

This heart-gripping anime has a beautiful plot and art. The plot is very unique and I really liked the idea of people living on land and the sea. Some of the problems that the characters faced could be related to some we face in real life, for example inter-racial marriages and bullying. But the big down fall is that the character development was too shallow. All the characters love someone and they don't even explain why they love them. I kept on getting annoyed throughout the entire series. Furthermore, I could see where the romance was heading after watching the first episode. If you're new toanime, this could be the anime for you. It is very emotional and heart-throbbing. But for someone who has watched animes for a very long time, this show might not be as exciting. You might be able to guess how the story goes and the anime will not surpass what you imagine.
