Review of Attack on Titan

Listen, I know this is often praised as the best anime ever... but I wasn't totally into it. Don't get me wrong, the story was great and it was done very well overall, it just wasn't my thing. I had a difficult time focusing on it while I was watching, for example, because it was so heavy and dramatic. That isn't a bad thing at all, but it was a commitment for me to sit down and watch it. I even dropped it for a while because I stopping making myself watch it. Once I was into it, though, it was brilliant. The art style isto die for, the grit of it is amazing, the characters are addictive. I think I just wasn't in the right mindset to watch it at the time. I'd still tell anybody that asked to watch it because it's worth it. It's extremely well thought out as far as worldbuilding goes. I'd say everybody should give it a shot.
