This movie was absolutely beautiful. I won't lie, I absolutely loathed the original franchise, Sword Art Online as there were many plot holes and general flaws in it's story and characters. However, this movie has opened my eyes, I would go to even say that it was a masterpiece. Like most teens would say, this was so "lit". Story - The story generally revolved around the new augmented reality game, "Ordinal Scale". Not really a game, but it could be seen in a light of a game. The story first starts of with some light comedy, producing a lot of tension then finally dispersing all of it with atragedy. The story was logically coherent and well explained. One of the most memorable moments in the story that I liked was when they brought up old concepts - I can't really go into detail here due to spoilers, however the OST, outfits evoked a nostalgic effect

Art: 10/10 - Perhaps because of the fact that I watched this in a 4D cinema, that I believe that the art should be given the rating of 10/10. The fluid animation and the art really shows how A-1 pictures has stepped up their game since the original series in 2012.

Sound - 9/10 - The OSTs were fitting to I would say all of the scenes, which is why I decided to grant it a 9 out of 10 rating. Though the OSTs were up to par to the original thanks to our goddess Yuki Kaijura, I don't believe that it was as good as the original series' OSTs.

Character: 9/10 - The introduction of Eiji, Yuna in this movie was done in a mysterious manner. Eiji was displayed to be the man that was stronger then Kirito in reality, with his mysteriousness it makes him a very non-cliche villain. It is easy for us to rationally comprehend his thinking as a villain, though unpredictable at times, he still intimidates us. Asuna and Kirito generally stay the same but there's nothing wrong with that as it is a movie.

Enjoyment: 10/10 - Don't think I need to say anymore. The fact that I watched it in 4D made it a 10/10 for me, I recommend everyone to watch it in 4D. This is a great movie that does not require previous knowledge of other series to understand.

Overall: 9/10
