Review of The Fruit of Grisaia

First of all, if you are a fan of the VNs, you probably will think this anime adaption is extremely lacking. However I never played any of them so I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Its kind of like Full Metal Panic because of the super over-powered, ex military m.c. who transfers into a school and then its also similar to Bakemonogatari where all of the female characters have little mini arcs and they're each weirdly connected to the m.c. in a kind of haremy way but its not really like a true harem if that makes sense. Also, it has lots of different waifus toargue about which is always fun.

This series is definitely enjoyable but it had the potential to be a masterpiece if they fleshed it out properly and made it longer... Each season could have been atleast 24 episodes. If you like end up liking the show, the second season is really cool because it goes back and develops the characters more.
