Review of Black Clover

I have never written a review for a long anime or any anime in general and frankly I was not going to write one until I saw the negative reviews about Black Clover discouraging others from watching it. I just want to note that I will be the first to admit that the first couple of episodes are slow, but there are MANY great animes with slow couple of episodes, point being to introduce you tot he characters and start the story from the beginning. This is a linear story hence starting from the beginning. I was suggested by a friend to watch this animeand almost dropped it myself, however I kept going and am more than happy that I did. You start with Asta, a boy with no magic powers in a world dominated by magic. And every single episode he grows and in part you feel as though you are growing with him and going on these epic journeys with him and the rest of the team. I do not want to include spoilers so I will not say much about these journeys but I can say first hand that I felt as if i was completely immersed in this world and felt as if I was part of this journey which is how watching should feel.
Not only is the character arcs amazing for Asta but even the rest of the squad and the other side characters. You get to see practically every single character grow, and even when Asta is not on screen you are still rooting for the other characters and growing with them.
There are barely any filler episodes but even the filler episodes are great and if you want to skip them that is fine, however i do not recommend skipping them because you miss a piece of the journey and let be honest they are literally 20 minute episodes watching the fillers is not going to do any harm.

I highly encourage anyone who enjoys adventure, fighting scenes and good sound to watch this anime. The art gets better as you progress for the most part you can tell some differences here and there but overall I believe it was great.
