I understand why this recap had to be 23 minutes, the point was to understand the artificial earthquake and how chaos children were created, establish the idea of delusions being able to physically affect reality, and New Gen, but I do wish it was a 40 something minute recap that covered the final chapter too. I don’t really think there would be anything wrong with showing it, those who were going to read Chaos;Child likely came from Chaos;Head, and those who left the recap without having read or watched Chaos;Head are going to be confused, they’ll want to know more about Shogun and the New GenKillers, Norose isn’t even present. And showing Momose and Ban would have been nice considering she’s in Chaos;Child.

Thankfully, the atmosphere is great, and it makes me believe a new Chaos;Head anime really could work, the animation and seeing all the Chaos;Head characters in a new anime style is amazing, they all look amazing! Takumi’s voice actor was great since the script allowed him to replicate his social anxiety that Takumi has in the game.

I enjoyed this recap, I have not even read or watched Chaos;Child yet, I just wanted to watch this after playing the Chaos;Head visual novel.
