Well, i honestly don't know anything about the original story this show is a spin-off of. But i enjoyed what i saw in here. It's nothing really deep, and even if it tried, it would have a hard time simply due to the format . It still ties up nicely in the end though. I rather disliked the ending . This is basically a watch to pass the time. And it does that job very well. The vision i see for this is dropping the whole time warp mumbo jumbo and turn it into a kind of slice of life SF anime. That waythis spin-off can become it's own thing .
