Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- The Frozen Bond · review
In making good use of the movie-length format, Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- The Frozen Bond tells the backstory of Emilia and Puck with good pacing and consistent quality on par with the main series. Yet again, this addition is deeply interconnected with the overarching plot and contains details, information, and questions that can become relevant to the main story. It contains heartwarming themes that include forming close bonds despite appearances, finding reasons to exist in a world filled with prejudice and persecution, and maintaining good morals and convictions amidst mistreatment. This is a welcomed, often wholesome change from the more depressing narrative.
