Review of Parasyte: The Maxim

I'm giving Parasyte a solid 10/10. Even if you don't find the theme to be mind-blowing and deep(which it is, but it isn't anything new), the characters and the drama are some of the best I have seen in anime. The music slaps, the animation is fantastic, and the characters are interesting and most of them continuously develop and grow throughout the 24 episodes. It is a great example of how short animes should be paced and never left me feeling bored or confused. I've never figured out why Parasyte isn't ranked higher on here. I suppose the body horror aspect of it isn't foreveryone but the slight creepiness of it is constantly contrasted by loveable characters, which to me, makes it a show anyone can enjoy.
