Review of Parasyte: The Maxim

The story itself was very good. I enjoy the idea of a world where parasites affect human society. The story following one where the parasite could not fully take over is also an interesting perspective. The characters following the MC are all unique and interesting. I will say there are some parts that don't make as much sense because of how fast pace the anime moves. We don't get to see why certain characters feel certain ways over others and why character development occurs in others that are not the main character. i think that makes it not one of the greats or best animes,however, this anime beats most animes in my eyes.
The art and sound quality are not bad at all for the time it was created, but if you were to watch it now (2022, then it looks pretty old). I personally disliked the MC's personality and his character throughout the show and the ending was pretty anticlimactic. However, it was nonetheless a great show. No bad writing was done and there was a good amount of story built into the show. The message and theme of the show are very interesting and good as well. The last of multiple seasons meant a lot of things had to be left unanswered which I did not like, but what can you do?
