Shimoneta was a funny and enjoyable show. I really appreciated the fact that there was a lewd show with sexual jokes that wasn't fan-service-y. Nothing bothers me more than enjoying a show for a few episodes, then the show deciding to go with panty-shots and nudity. This show was perverse and, for the most part, did it in a way that made it purely comical and did not try to be sexy. I enjoyed it most prior to the "Gathered Fabric" arcs, but it still managed to be entertaining even afterwards. It was very self-aware, and for that it deserves credit.
