Review of Horimiya

Horimiya is a cute piece of media. If you're looking for a romance to enjoy, this is a pretty good choice. Typically, when romance is the sole genre of a show, I tend to not enjoy it. Horimiya, however, was actually quite good, it surprised me. If you like romance, I do feel that you will enjoy this show. I tend to see romance as the secondary part of a show/a way for the show to have a reason to do what it wants — whether that be comedy or drama. With this, I think that having just romance as thegenre caps out a show at 7 for me. That being said, this got a 7, so it managed to hit the maximum that I could possibly give it.

If you're into shows with romance as the only genre, this will be a really good watch for you. If you're not into that, it'll still be a decent watch, that is unless your cap for pure romances is way below mine.
