Review of Chainsaw Man

Absolute dog crap, overhyped goonerbait. The only thing praise worthy here is the art style, but even then it feels overdone, suffering from the same face syndrome. Characters have forceful “quirky” traits that come off as one dimensional and fake. Feels like it is overcompensating instead of actually making compelling characters that doesn’t have the personality of a rock. It tries so hard to be relatable and dark but it just falls flat. I hate the way it portrays women, even if its purpose was to show that “women don’t exist only for sexual gratification” like come on that’s just common sense and if you’vejust discovered this concept by watching this I truly have no words. It still sexualizes women heavily despite that. Just an edgy slop overall and I will die on this hill. #normalizechainsawmanhate
