Review of Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro
While on the surface it seems like the story is about a girl teasing and torturing a guy just for the fun of it, it quickly becomes obvious that this story is actually very inspiring and a perfect example of slice of life. Through unorthodox methods and superficial teasing both get character developement and as a result you see them understanding and supporting each other. Nagatoro starts as annoying who teases her "Senpai" for her won amusement, but it doesn't take long for you to see that she actually likes the guy and helps him come out of his shell, forcing him to see thathe's talented and worthy and that he must stood out for himself and defend him when someone else tries to hurt him. Yes, she never stops using the pervert jokes as a defence mechanism but you've got to be blind to not see that she's also very inexperienced and has a fear of letting herself appear vulnerable and she only does it in rare moments with him.
All in all, i really enjoyed the anime. I don't know if a 2nd season would be a good idea, but don't listen to negative reviews. It's a feel good anime, not an abusive one.
