Review of Lazarus

Lazarus, a very interesting choice of a title and u can only understand the meaning of the title after u watch it all. Alright so let's talk about things i like. I really really love the production of this anime. A well made production, maybe because it's from netflix. Love the scoring, very fitting the anime. And i really enjoy the action scene which are plenty. The fight choreography is really cool especially after i found out they use real human movements for this. And the parkour scenes from axel also really really dope. The opening and ending song choice are also top notch. Butstill i think this anime lack of good story writing. It was very promising and has potential. But the story writing wasn't really good and satisfied me. I mean the ending are pretty good and concluded the story well. But the overall story writing wasn't really great. There's a bit twist at the end, and the characters backstory are all very interesting, but they kinda lack depth and writing. Just tiny bit more of depth and good writing and u're good. With skinner character too, he needs better writing , he's like the main character/point in this anime but his character writings are pretty shallow. And about that assassin too, again his backstory is interesting and could make the story way richer if they explore his character more.
But still i enjoy the whole anime because of its amazing production--great scoring, graphics, animation, and fight choreography. And it's not boring at all. Just lack of good story writing ahahahaha
