Review of Ya Boy Kongming!

An ancient Chinese general transported back to modern day to play the role of a manager for a girl that wishes to become an idol? sign me up! As you just read, the story itself is quite unique, and i can't exactly remember anything that has a similar plot to this. Though, the presentation itself isn't exactly something new, and Koumei himself is in there more so for the name than the character itself. Because honestly, you could probably just change him with an eccentric 40 yo dude who's favorite subject in high-school was history and nothing would change But not everything out there needs tobe a masterpiece, so if you wanna feel good and have a good time with some silly characters, this is the show for you. Or if you just don't know what to watch in the moment. Either way, this is a safe bet for an enjoyable afternoon, it doesn't require you to invest to much time into liking the characters, or the general plot itself.
