Review of Medaka Kuroiwa is Impervious to My Charms
I started reading the manga long before the anime adaptation was announced, and I have to admit, I appreciate it much more than the animated version. The anime, in my opinion, isn't particularly memorable. One thing that struck me was that some scenes from the manga were omitted from the anime, which left me a bit disappointed. I was expecting a more polished adaptation. Although the plot remains essentially the same, some parts have been cut. The animation is still quite good, and the drawings are undoubtedly adorable. But considering the basic plot is quite simple and there are many other similar stories, losing those littledetails that I thought were cute dampens my enthusiasm somewhat.
That said, it's still a light and enjoyable anime. Despite everything, it manages to make you smile a little and is pleasantly entertaining, even without any particular pretensions.
