Review of Akira

"Unique and Entertaining" When this anime first came out it put itself on the map not just in Japan but all across the world. Nothing like this in anime was ever done before. The music. the visuals, the fast pace. the vibes it gave off, the themes it discussed. But also had its flaws such as the plot wasn't the best it was sort of all over the place and some of the characters felt weak and not well written. If you understand the themes and meaning of the movie the flaws are easy to ignore. I know this anime might not be for everyone. A bitviolent and grotesque and requires a bit of patience and attentiveness from the viewer. . But If your into the sci fi or the action genre this anime is a guaranteed must watch.
