This was a nice little manga, the characters were well designed and there was just the right amount of humour. The bonus stories in the first volume were a nice add on too. There wasn't too much of a plot though, it was more seeing how the relationship progressed rather than there being an end point to it all. Would have been nice to see more of how Kyogo's confession affected the friendship. The let down for me in this was it was a little too non-consensual for me. It didn't really need to be and bordered on rape even in the short stories. I'm notnew to stories with non-con in them it's just this seemed a little fixated and unnecessary. I must say my yaoi fangirl liked it and just shrugged it off.

But overall I'd say it's a good manga. I particularly like the work that went into the characters, especially Kyogo, you can tell that each character has his own story waiting to be told. If you're a yaoi fan who doesn't mind non-con then give it a read if you can get a hold of it.

Nanashi Moriko *not quite a Selfish Love fangirl*
