Review of Blood Blockade Battlefront

This is my favorite anime. An episodic masterpiece that while having its flaws, i couldn't help but laugh and cry. As a big fan of Yasuhiro and all his works, Gungrave, Trigun, BBB. I was having a blast while watching this season. From the well animated fight scenes to the godlike score by Taisei, to the characters that while larger than life at times, still felt so minuscule in the world of hellsalems lot. The episodic nature throws alot of people off, it's understandable but for me. It merely made me love it more, watching several separate stories, the characters grow and develop. Coupled along with theopening and endings that made me tear up a bit each time. This is truly one of the greatest thing's I've seen, not in terms of sheer quality. But with just how it resonated with me at the time.
