Review of BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense.

At first I was one of those people who thought this series was like a ripoff version of SAO. Upon watching the first episode, my opinion quickly changed. The only thing similar is the VRMMORPG platform but aside from that, this anime is totally different. There was a lack of seriousness and lack of potential enemies in the anime. Well I guess it really is just a game, that's why. Players also level up quite quick and it was surprising to see them fight and win boss battles alone. But I got used to it in the long run lol I find it amazing how theauthor thought of bizarre ways for maple to acquire her skills and transformations. I would never have thought you could transform into a demon by eating one hahaha

One thing this anime strongly emphasizes is that leveling up and the skills that can be acquired depends on the individual players. They develop skills suited for them and their class. I would love to see how the story progresses and how the players would formulate strategies to take on maple!

P.S. I love how Congregation of the Holy Swords, Kingdom of the Flame Emperor, and Maple Tree fought together in the 4th event and celebrated after in Maple Tree's Guild. It was so cuuuuteee and fun hehe
