Review of Dorohedoro

The only way I knew how to explain this anime to my friends in only a few words was, that wholesome horror anime. Is that kinda redundant? Yes, I believe so. Is it any less true? Absolutely not. I LOVE a good horror anime but they are a dime a dozen, but this one blew my socks off. Its in a gritty, unforgiving world with a cast of characters that have learned to balance the insanity with a nice dose of humor. A powerful mafia family is made from the ashes of enslavement, a duo of friends maintain their friendship despite their manydifferences, and a 13 year old girl who the flesh of her face torn off wears a Shark suit and dances.

Its weird, gritty, funny, and dark. And you most likely wont know wtf is happening until half way through the series unless youve read the manga.

But give it a shot anyway if just for the 7ft tall Amazon woman who could break you and half and youd thank her for it.
