Review of Ride Your Wave

Ride Your Wave is a fairytale story brought to life through animation. The clear selling point would be the art style that is so vibrant and full of the energy that every part of the animators put into it. The story and the character development throughout the film were quite lacking, however, as we see a lot of scenes that were unnecessary for the plot to continue. What really caught me was the emotions that were so clear-cut that the VAs were able to express through singing or screaming out into the open air. Overall the film was a piece of eye candy that willleave you wanting if you came for an actual story, but as an experience will make you feel alive with magic and whimsy.
