Review of Nisekoi: False Love

Nisekoi is a great anime.
The story may be kind of basic with a weird twist, but it's good. Though it isn't enough to keep things interesting. The story drags out for two seasons and also isn't finished it. Granted it is still a very enjoyable anime to watch, with some filler, but its not a slice of life, its a comedy romance. While having both genre's it's almost like they could've added a slice of life genre in there. But filler has its purpose, its something used as a stepping stone to reaching a goal of learning more about the character, whilst (hopefully) making you like the character, or characters, more.
That's not all though, because I did say that the story isn't enough. The characters, music, art style all play a part in this and too me, they're what make this anime great. The characters are fun and I like seeing them on screen whilst laughing my heart out. The music too, fun sounding and its nice too hear it every once in a while. The opening is pretty good too not gonna lie, but the art style is where I love it the best. Its simple, and has a "toradora" look to it, the colours are vibrant and i don't not enjoy watching it.
I gave this anime an 8. Usually anything I give an 8 something I can binge and is that most of the time its pretty good. 20 episodes of fun, and that's what its meant to be, fun. Though this anime got a lot of hate for not finishing earlier and honestly I can see their point and almost feel that way, but honestly I wanted to see more of these characters. I really can wait for season 3 (if it ever comes out), but what i do hope for is that they finish it, because too much of something is usually bad for you.
