Review of Devilman: Crybaby

Story: It's alright. Nothing too special. The anime is a bit rushed so some things aren't really explained further. There are some questionable scenes. But overall nothing will really puzzle you. The ending is absolutely shambolic in my opinion. An lazy, distraught, terrible and useless ending to a great series which is why I'm rating this anime so lowly. Ending isn't clear and the manga won't help you find any comfort. This is one of those anime's with these half assed endings, where it's all left up to speculation. Art: It's mediocre. No offense but comparing it to modern 2005+ animes, the art could be better.The art isn't bad. But it's not good either.

Action: Well it's not for the faint hearted. Gore, nudity and all sorts of madness. As for an action anime it does excel. The whole anime is quite unique. It's just violent and unpredictable. Not anything quite like it. I do recommend you see this anime. Although the ending is poor, if you're looking to pass the time with a unique and very violent anime you've found the right place. This isn't really for the faint hearted. Things aren't really censored, so you'll get hit full blast with some wild stuff.

Overall: It's a good anime with a really really bad ending. The anime felt rushed and there's so many questions left unanswered that won't get answered clearly. If this doesn't deter you. Then by all means give this anime a watch! Because you'll surely enjoy it. Just don't expect any closure
