When I watched the 1st season, I was unimpressed. I gave it a 6/10. I enjoyed the sequel even less and I'll explain why. There will be a few spoilers but I'll warn you ahead of time. Animation: 1) I hate the character design. 2) The animation for action/fight scenes is always mediocre. Sound:1) soundtrack is forgettable .
2) Much like the 1st season, most voices don't fit the characters and most male seiyuus' performaces made my ears bleed.

Story:
1) It moves at a rapid pace and I love it.
2) For an episode to entertain me has to have Ban in it. Every other character is either boring or has a voice that just breaks immersion for me. In fact, out of the 24 episodes that this season has, I've only liked 4 of them (5th, 8th, 10th and 13th.
3) Overall, the story and events that happen are too predictable for them to be interesting and engaging.
4) From this number forward there will be SPOILERS so read with caution! The love talk from the 12th episode was cringe as heck.
5) Also from the 12th episode, Ban gets hit by an attack that causes his soul to leave his body so that the bad guys can eat it. We actually see Ban's sould moving towards the bad guys and trying to find a way to avoid being eaten. However and for no reason at all, Zhivago's soul appears out of nowehere and offers to sacrifice itself. This is when Ban's soul returns to his body and the bad guys eat Zhivago's soul. My issue here is that nobody sees Zhivago's soul or Ban's soul returning to his body. The bad guys can clearly see souls because they grab them. And if the attack hit Ban, how the heck did it transfer to Zhivago?
6) On the 14th episode, Escanor declares himself to be a temporary feminist when he gives the chance to a female villain to escape. Feminism is not a movement in favor of women but a movement that fights for gender equality. It's ridiculous how people still get this wrong in the 21st century.
7) On the 22nd episode, Elizabeth is about to get punched by Derieri but Meliodas steps up and punched her first. Elizabeth is unharmed because of this but still ends up being carried by Meliodas' arms as if she suddenly can't stand up or something. It just felt so out of place.
8) Also on the 22nd episode, Elizabeth has this massive magical power that awakened within her but in mere seconds and for no reason at all it's no longer shown or used.

Overall, watching this season felt like a chore most of the time and for me it deserves a 5/10.
