I love how bold Hoyo made this for their 100th character. She had tons of animated shorts in a span of 1-2 months. They hyped her up really well and lived up to it while they stepped up and gave the best for her in Genshin. This was a cinematic experience. The animation's called "Star Odyssey." And in the beginning, she's curled up in the fetal position in space, just like the Star Child at the end of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Great reference! She carries so much heavy lore. absolute peak! along with the new Archon Quest. The casual reveal of the outside of the firmamentwas crazy, not to mention how pulchritudinous the soundtrack is. Truly, one of Genshin's best animated 3D/2D videos atm, if not the best. Skirk herself is already immaculate.
