Review of Dan Da Dan
Well this show was a surprise The characters were great, the balans of comedy, seriousness and stupidity was very well executed The characters are genuine and behave like normal people (there is no much of overly done tsundere, unnecessary conflicts between cast, the romance is untangling naturally and they all have both positives and negatives that aren't overly troupe heavy) Momo is a greatly written female character, she has the right balance of cute and kind to roughness and deliquesce, basically a normal girl with quirky and playful (on rougher and more tomboyish) personality The amount of nudity and "sexualization" is fine, there was like 3episodes where it was noticable, so contrary to what people say, it is not there to an extent that it makes the show bad, unwatchable or cringe
Ken is a fine lead, he is a stereotypical quirky nerd, but develops to a bit more rambunctious, witty and funny average guy while not losing his original charm (contrast between his true self and powered self is very funny and has great "inner demon/second personality" troupe execution
Granny is a blast
Animation is very fluid and gives me old comic book vibes, colors are great and facial expressions are on point and fitting
Story is interesting and quite unique, it gives the Ghost stories vibe but Mob psycho entertainment
Emotional moments are awesome and episodes like episode 7 are a rarity in today's anime standard (a clear 11/10 episode)
Music is alright, I liked the op but it isn't anything too special in my opinion, OST is ok
Villains are layered and entertaining so it was never boring to watch them
Overall, this anime is a what we could say "golden standard" for new shounen
