Review of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc

Demon Slayer got so many accolades in season 1, where I felt it didn't deserve it. However, Demon Slayer Yuukaku-hen earns high marks for its' unbelievable animation, action sequences, good story telling, and interesting characters. The first few episodes may give you apprehension but get past those few episodes to get to the juicy center and enjoy the rest of the way. Once this series grabs you, there is no more pit stops, and it's a straight line to the finish. Nothing but excitement, reaching its climax exactly where it's supposed to. In the end, whatever negative feelings you haveabout the series, may at least be countered, with this season which definitely amplifies the series as a whole.

Animation 10/10
- Its Ufotable, the action is mouthwatering, even during my second viewing I was still in awe.
Sound 10/10
- The sounds from BGM to SE are impeccable, the VA is top notch, with ok OP/ED.
Story 6/10
- This isn't complex stuff, and there again is very little in terms of a bridge to the origins of the demons as a whole. We do get some nice back story with our main antagonists though, which is appreciated.
Characters 10/10
- Our main characters plus 4 nice additions making dramatic entries into this series really makes this arc stand out from the rest of Demon Slayer. (Yes, I said 4, you'll see).
Enjoyment 9/10
- First episodes are just okay, setting up for the finale.

I don't remember season 1. I won't forget season 2. So, if you haven't seen Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen yet, then give it a shot, if anything, the production is worth watching. You won't get an anime with this level of detail, besides Fate Heavens Feel movies. Also, if you haven't watched the movie or its recap episodes, watch one or the other first, just so you don't spoil the movie, cause episodes 1-4 refer to the movie.
