"Kaguya-sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic-", although adding another unnecessary tag to the title, is probably the most necessary addition to the series. Previous seasons had the romance between Kaguya and Miyuki stall out, as the first person to confess their feelings loses. Without spoiling anything, in this season, character development actually occurs. There is this certain hype feeling that you get when rooting for a friend to finally ask someone out after said friend has told you how much they like that person over a long period of time. The "Love is War" series had provoked this feeling in the previous 2seasons, but this season distilled its essence and shoots it right into your veins. The scenarios are more bizarre, the character dynamics are heightened, and the hype turned up to 11. Without spoiling the ending, "Kaguya-sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic-" is one of the first romance/romcom anime to ever have a satisfying ending while staying true to the original premise it stated in episode 1 of season 1.

If you liked the first two seasons of "Kaguya-sama: Love is War", you will absolutely love this third season and how it progresses each of the main characters. If you haven't seen the first two seasons yet, it would be best to watch them first before getting to one of the best romcom seasons of all time (anime or otherwise).

PS: Never did I ever think the phrase "Blue ass" would be written in bold English letters in a Japanese anime, but here we are. The rap scene will forever be one of the greatest moments in anime.
