Mainly because her crush of ten years was telling her that she reminded him of his mom. She agrees to a fake dating arrangement with her classmate Chikage to make her crush jealous, even though she is bad at lying. This is divided into three main arcs. The first focuses on trying to win over the childhood crush. The second centers on Chikage’s ex-girlfriend, which might be uncomfortable and upsetting to some. The final arc shows the shift from fake dating to real feelings. The story shows the challenges of understanding relationships. Focusing on emotional misunderstandings, personal growth, and youthful mistakes. The concept is simple and easyto follow, but the ending feels abrupt and incomplete. Additional chapters or side stories could have helped provide better closure and emotional payoff.

Art style strongly resembles Ao Haru Ride.
