His Majesty's Proposal · review
This manhwa has some really great art right off the bat. It's one of the reasons I kept going with it till the end. As a fan of romance-isekai or villainess stuff, I approached this similarly. I was very glad to find out that this show didn't follow the usual tropes of "I read a novel/played a game and now I'm the princess or villaness" but instead its just a normal isekai to another world. The entire romance is based on the characters falling for each other when they know more about each other. So because of that there are really few moments where the charactersget all depressed and start avoiding each other just running around in circles and wasting chapters. The story focuses on the rest of the world and its development while occasionally testing their relationship without making a hassle out of it.
The story maintains a good pace until the last 20 chapters where it's somewhat rushed and a bit cringe in some moments.
Overall tho it was a really fun and enjoyable read. If you're looking for really intense drama between the characters, this probably isn't for you.
