This is definitely the better one of the two Heat x Beat books. While considerably longer than the other, it doesn't feel as uncomfortably fast-paced as that one and takes more time to flesh out its characters. The conflict between the main couple also is a lot more interesting, and makes it a lot better of a read. Whenever I read omegaverse stories, I like commentaries on what the dynamics can imply in universe, and I think this book does a good job of that while also putting it into the context of the idol industry, although relatively surface-level. And, while it is slower pacedthan the other Heat x Beat installment, it's still a quick read.
