Hokuou Kizoku to Moukinzuma no Yukiguni Karigurashi · review
Reading this manga fills me with peace. The romance is a slow burn, yet it always grows and evolves. The characters are soft, yet they are well-written and well-defined. Their dynamics are very healthy, very greenflag as the kids like to say. The cute moments are aplenty yet they are never cloying or overpowering. And the slice of life elements are informative without it being stuffy. Love how gentle Ritzhard is. And I also appreciate how the story handles Sieglinde. She is slowly turning more feminine as the story goes, taking more female roles, but her character remains resolute and determined as she always was. There aresome moments where they intentionally go through typical romance tropes, and the story itself knows how jarring it is.
Pure, so pure, it heals me fully.
