My Virtual God Is a Teenage Girl · review
The title might make you think "oh, another romcom harem." It isn't that. This is a story about AI, cyclical bullying, and a functioning sociopath MC. It has its comedy moments (absurd things happen around the MC while everyone around him obliviously accepts it) and people do fall in love with the MC too often, but the serious aspects are given sufficient exploration, to the point where that part of the story takes precedent over the "haha look at the funny sims Peoples doing funny things!!1!" Sometimes, stories like this get too deep into the "deepest lore" elements, ruining all the mystery and making it drag(thinking of the second half of Summer Time Rendering). This story does not do that. The author does an excellent job of developing the unconventional aspects of the story while keeping the reader immersed.
The humor isn't "zomg roflmao" funny, but it's not bad. It's enough to make you think "heh, hah" in your head as you continue reading.
TL;DR: not the best comedy, but very good if you're looking for something more serious.
