Against The Sky Supreme · review
At first glance, Ni Tian Zhizun might look like typical harem fodder, but the "Revenge" plot carries it further than you’d expect. The Protagonist & Plot: The story is a straightforward revenge power trip. The MC is cold and ruthless—he doesn't leave enemies alive to haunt him later, which keeps the pacing fast and satisfying. The Romance & "Identity" Hook: The harem building actually has decent suspense. The chemistry between the MC and his teacher/disciple creates a "will-they-won't-they" tension that keeps you hooked. The Mortal Realm arc, specifically the identity reveal, is a major highlight that makes the buildup worth it. Production & Future: Animation: It starts a bit "budget," butthe improvement is massive over time.
Consistency: The studio is releasing episodes on a continuous basis. With the novel already finished and nearly half the story adapted, we’re likely to see a full adaptation.
Final Verdict: It may not be the greatest series of all time, but it’s a highly addictive watch for fans of the genre. If you want a ruthless MC and a story that actually moves, give it a go.
