Hello, Melancholic! · review
This manga was a really fun read. The relationship between the main characters, Minato and Hibiki, is super cute. Minato has a ton of social anxiety and low self-esteem whereas Hibiki is optimistic and really draws Minato out of her shell. The art is a little bit stylistic when it comes to the characters but that's not a bad thing by any means. Minato's character design and constant hunched posture match her personality particularly well. The mangaka seems to play music based on one of the afterwards and the love of music the characters feel is really transferred through the page. The side characters are also quiteenjoyable. If anything I wish we had gotten more time with them, particularly when it came to Chika and Arita who get a few chapters devoted to their side story.
Overall this is a light and fluffy yuri I would definitely recommend.
