This had potential, but they dropped the ball. The premise was promising, a 20 something year old terminally ill guy dies and he was summoned to another world. The first volume is pretty interesting, and had a lot of potential. He was supposed to be a summoned hero but because of his frail constitution is unable to fulfill his "duty". The heroes who are summoned are no more than slaves to be used and discarded when they outlive their usefulness. Since Setsuna is unable to fulfill his role he was cast aside like garbage, and they ended up summoning a new "hero". He is lockedup in a room for a entire year without talking to anyone and resigned himself to die like that, losing the will to live. As he is about to give up a past hero shows up and offers him a chance to live how he chooses with a strong body and unrivaled power.
Fast forwards a little bit he escapes from captivity and decides to become an adventurer, and traveler. This story has no plot and no driving force. There's no antagonist except the kingdom that summoned him, however they aren't even in the story except a short chapter in the end of each Volume. Even then it is exceptionally uneventful, there's nothing of interest that happens. There's very little character development, Setsuna is able to use all magic and is a master swordsman out of the gate so he's already the "perfect" MC. Their's no growth whatsoever. His character is very bland and has nothing going for himself.
The story drops off in the first volume, when he rescues a beastfolk from his slaver. It's a isekai trope that is overdone, and is not interesting. After that point the story turns to raing the beastfolk and teaching him about adventuring at a slow pace, when I say slow I mean slow. I slog through 3 volumes and finally decided to drop this because literally nothing is happening. I get it's supposed to be a slow paced adventure but common this is ridiculously boring.
