Writing this review because I wanted to drop this so badly but kept on reading because it had good reviews on the site I read it from. Paying it forward to my fellow MAL members. Comedy is the strongest suit of this manhwa, and although sometimes a little cringe, the way it was consistently delivered made it enjoyable until the very end. Loved the dynamic of the main characters. The story was intriguing despite nothing making sense until the latter chapters. I couldn’t have survived reading this weekly and getting nothing but mysteries and confusion out of it. But alas, like Apothecary Diaries, everything made sense atthe end. I would’ve preferred for the motive of the villain to be thoroughly explained (you know, how they try to force a little empathy towards their villain arc), but it’s not a huge loss.

I admittedly read this for the romance, and in this area it leaves a lot more to be desired. There were only 10 chapters or less of actual romance, but I will recommend it anyway because it is worth it. Maybe it’s similar to the feeling of being too hungry and considering everything delicious? 😅 Every panel of that scarce romance is squeal worthy. So go on, read it and enjoy!
