6.6/10 “Oh lord, this is terrible. This is just your average power fantasy with a lot of rape fanservice; how could anyone read this?” Well, at least that was my initial reaction, but before I knew it, I got to chapter 15 and decided that enough was enough because this shouldn’t be that entertaining, but it was. Besides for this manga being orc rape simulator 900, the plot and characters aren’t too shabby, but it really suffered from the lack of world building. I vividly remember being annoyed that this manga did a cop-out flashback instead of a proper character/story introduction — the manga just plops youinto the mc’s perspective, and it wants you to completely understand his values/views. A lot of his “emotional” overcoming would have been so much more impactful if the author decided to spend a singular chapter on him.

The world-building also sucks — I can’t even say it sucks, because there literally was no world-building. It’s like the author doesn’t know what kind of story he wanted to write until it was chapter 7-8 where the mc just then starts to question/reveal everything. Was the world filled with gates before? Did people have skills? What happened? Your guesss was as good as mine, and were supposed to ignore these details for however long.

Though, I’m a degenerate who stomached all its flaws, and I found myself a pleasantly enjoyable time-waster, as the mc’s powers and his casts’ was progressed rather well — if we were to ignore all the plot holes and lack of explanations in the powers themselves.

The characters also aren’t too bad because most of them act reasonably, and they add some fun-ness into the story.

This is manga where you turn your brain off and just read. Read until you become satisfied or bored to move onto the next. If you ignore all the poor writing, the story isn’t too bad, and it was pretty interesting — well, if you could stomach gore, sexual assault, and rape every chapter.
