A strong and beautiful delinquent is chased after and idolized by a puppy-dog underclassmen who manages to finagle his way into intimacy and sex without the either partner ever having to be serious about their feelings for each other, outside of some rescuing from physical harm. Does this sound familiar? If not, I actually would say you should go ahead and read this! I think it's pretty run-of-the-mill but it also hits all the story beats and the art is really good. If the above scenario IS familiar though, like it painfully is to me, this one might be worth skipping. I actually have no issue with theseme being too pushy and the consent being dubious at first, but honestly there's no meat there. If ALL we see is the younger puppy seme being "cute" and him thinking the uke is "cute" and he just ruts on him every other panel, where's the yearning? Where's the wait? The buildup?

The sex isn't bad or anything and yes it's forceful but i hate that it’s the ONLY chemistry. I don’t see any emotions other than “wow!” And “cute!” If this was an established relationship, maybe. But not only do the leads barely know each other AND barely talk, we're introduced to a hot childhood friend. I'm very sick of the childhood friend trope, but I think that would've made this whole thing salvageable since it leaves the chemistry development in the pre-story background and all we as the audience need to see are the main couple finally realizing and acting on feelings. But I digress.

I will say I DO really like that seme ended up being strong, and the art is truly great and perfect for the storyline. That alone made it much more worthwhile. However, it's disappointing with such art and a great plot setup that the actual story wasn't giving us a relationship to read about.
