Review of Whisper Me a Love Song

The first 6 episodes of this are kind of just a "nothing special but nothing wrong with it either" type of story. It's a cute yuri but not much goes on. Once you get past episode 6 though, the whole focus shifts and it becomes amazing. I wish there were more of those latter 6 episodes — it makes you so emotional, you will cry or at least get a cryball. There are unexpected reveals, and they hit hard. This series feels like it deserves a higher rating from me, because I really did like it, but it's just missing that specialsomething to bring it from a 7 to an 8, and it got knocked down from a 7 to a 6 because of the pretty average first six episodes.

The music from this is also fire. It's been a while since I've seen this and I keep listening to the music, and one of the songs is reaaally up there for me.
