Review of [Oshi No Ko]

I mean.... it's aight. The first episode was good and carried great themes. Some of the other episodes however were either good or somewhat cliched or cringy. It's worth a watch I guess, but personally was nothing to write home about. The main cast isn't particularly endearing. The plot is fine. But it's just... meh. From the first episode onwards the quality of writing just dwindles. Anime covering heavy topics should be done well, and I feel like they could have done a lot more with the unique premise they had created, but weirdly they just never seemed to dive deeper in it. I think I ammostly disappointed because it was less than it could have been. It really had potential. That being said, some people might still enjoy this sort of anime.
