Review of Fena: Pirate Princess
I really liked this anime personally because of the high amount of adventure mixed in with comedy and characters who you stick with as a group and they're all really well made individuals through how they look and their personalities which bounce off eachother in a way where you'll never be bored from the comedy and drama that ensues. The structure of the story was done well giving you decent enough backstory and context about the world that the anime is set in. And the motive started out very vague and got clearer as the anime came to the climax which is good for ananime with the main theme about adventure mixed with on and off romantic comedy.
The character herself is made decently with the type of personality you'd expect a young woman would have who hasn't seen much of the world for alot of her life. Although I wasn't for the part where she cut off alot of her hair, like why would you do that for? (I'm a sucker for long straight hair). Nonetheless you can adapt to it as the show goes on.
But really if you're going to make the mc cut her hair in whatever meaning you might aswell just go for the buzz cut.
Regardless it was a really good anime that keeps you entertained constantly with it's decent drama, comedy and on and off romance.
So if you're on the edge on if you should watch this like I was since this sat in my planned to watch section for ages I'd say watch it since it did exceed my expectations quite a bit.
