Review of Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I'm Not the Demon Lord
I may have been just watching too much slop lately, but this show was actually pretty entertaining. The premise is generic enough, but the main character and some supporting characters are entertaining enough, while keeping me interested in the plot. The main character is quite entertaining. They have an interesting/unique personality and the humor here resonated with me enough for me to laugh out loud a few times. There are quite a few characters that act quite dumb though, and they try to explain it, but it stil feels a bit off. I guess they are teenagers, and game characters. It's just there's a group ofcharacter who doubt the main characters strength at the start, but even after being given copious proof, they never loose their snarky attitude, or "I'll get you this time" personality. Like, she's level 99, and some character comes up bragging about getting to level 20 so they have a chance now. The main character maybe can be a bit too nice as well. It's part of their character though.
The animation is fine enough, but does have a few noticeable low budget moments. The story is complete enough as far as I'm concerned, and overall the show was good. I recommend it you like overpowered characters and villainess stories.
