First of all, I thank all casts for adapting this anime from a popular manga, Chainsaw Man. So, for the watchers out there, please proceed w/ caution cause I'll put spoiilers here. Also, we all have different taste. Some of you will recommend it, some of you dont, and some will stay neutral. So, this is my opinion, AND I DO NOT SEEK WAR HERE. Story (8): So, the story starts when his father died, Denji was stuck with a huge debt and no way to pay it back. Thanks to a Devil dog he saved named Pochita, he's able to survive through odd jobs and killingDevils for the Yakuza. When the Yakuza betrays him and he's killed by the Zombie Devil, Pochita sacrifices himself to save his former master. Now Denji has been reborn as some kind of weird Devil-Human hybrid. The world is one ravaged by Devils, otherworldly monsters who feed on human fear. Despite their antagonistic nature, humans can actually form alliances with these Devils and gain powers of their own. The protagonist, a downtrodden young man named Denji, works to clear his father's massive debt to the yakuza.

Denji massacres the yakuza, and is approached by a team of governmental Devil Hunters, the Public Safety Division, led by Makima, who convinces him to join their ranks. Charmed by her kindness and looks, Denji joins Public Safety and is partnered with Power, the Blood Fiend, and Aki Hayakawa, a self-destructive Devil Hunter. Makima promises Denji any favor, provided he kill the Gun Devil, perpetrator of the greatest massacre in human history. Several missions later, Denji's group encounters another hybrid, Samurai Sword, a vengeful yakuza seemingly allied with the Gun Devil, who attacks the Division. Makima and devil hunter Kobeni Higashiyama managed to survive the ambush, but the Division lost many members in the attack, including Himeno, Aki's partner. In order to match them, Denji and Power are trained by Kishibe, a master Devil-hunter who distrusts Makima and Aki makes a contract with the Future Devil, who foresees a "horrible death" for him. The Division launches a counter-attack against Samurai Sword, capturing him & played a contest on "nut shot"??

Well, I gotta say that before I watch this, I had NO SUCH interest in it. As the show goes on, when the outro begins, I was like, WAIT IT ENDED??? like what I felt on the edge of the S1 anime, it's cliff-hanged w/ a bunned-black-haired girl meeting Denji in a cafe. The story went great. I thought the R+ rating is for the gore, yes. But there's more to it. (don't let ur holy mind get dirty, kiddos.)

Artstyle (10): I love how the art is SO GOOD, like for the OP & EDs, the first person thingy, or the 2d mixed w/ 3d for the knife hat guy & Denji (chainsaw mode). I like how they made 13 x 1.5 minutes of uniquely amazing animation in every episode, like what-
They also made everything looking good, sometimes I feel like they're not going to see the sunlight in a while :_)

Sound (9): The BGM & OST is FIREE!! <3 I heard that it's hard to get copyright from +13 songs, but they made it! OwO The OSTs are oftenly banger, but some of them overlapped the actors' voice volume. Many of their voices fitted my expectations! They also filled the expressions of their character (idk the blonde old man's personality is flat but.. his voice made me think so)

Character (7): Denji is a complex character. He lived in a poor life w/ a huge debt, so I don't assume he's trash or smth. What do you expect for someone who instantly has everything he dreamed of? He didn't want much. Just a normal life w/ someone who'll live w/ him for the rest of their lives. But that's impossible after Pochita got into his body, made him a Devil Hunter, and so on. Power is like Denji. She didn't want what us wants, just a life w/ Meowy, her cat that she loves so much. Aki wants revenge, and Makima is a rlly mysterious one.

What I less like is how Himeno died on the season, for me, she almost have character development. First, I thought she's a drunkie badass girl who needs nothing. But in the end, we knew she is a sweet, care, and loving person who wanted to die before Aki. Before I could love her, she died. She just got attention from the fans (but I love her from the start) & she just, DIE???

Overall I recommend this if you wanted a thrilling anime, but don't watch this if you're underage (this work has dark humour that's why :P) Please proceed w/ caution.
