Review of Jingai-san no Yome

Going in expecting nothing groundbreaking-- I honestly appreciate the refreshing simplicity and absurd humor Jingai san no Yome has to offer. This is one of those shows that are incredibly short, not meant to make logical sense, and work as a brief piece of simple, lighthearted entertainment. Perfect if you don't have 30 minutes to spare, but still want some light entertainment. Perfect if you don't have much mental energy to spare and are looking for just that little pick up to refresh and recharge your spirit. Cute art, cute boys, cute creatures. Funny fetishes, funny pairings and lightheartedness. This is not an anime for overthinking,nor is it a huge investment of time or energy. Story, plot, substance obviously don't offer much, because that isn't the intention here. And really, going off the premise it's pretty easy to gather that. I appreciated it for what it was, and I hope you do too.
