Review of No Game, No Life: Zero
No Game No Life: Zero. No wonder this movie was kinda devoid of life. There were no games. Zero stands for the number of games. This movie tells us the story of far in the past when the great wars reigned. It tells us how the humans, the least impressive species, managed to survive and how the world as we know it from the anime came to be. The main characters are reminiscent of Sora and Shiro but there is not much depth to their characters. Maybe Sora and Shiro are supposed to be reincarnations of those two? I guess we'll see sometime in the future. Butthe movie itself was quite boring. It got a little better when Schwi was introduced but not much better. This movie just didn't have the appeal of the show: all those games were what made it fun! At least it kept the vibrant colors of the anime which was quite beautiful indeed.
The release of the movie is at least a good sign: Maybe there is hope for season 2 of the anime?
