Review of Tsukigakirei

I dont write reviews for animes I watch. The only time when I feel the need to share my opinion is when I feel really passionate about something. This is one of those passionate things. Now I don't cry when an anime finishes. Most of the time when I watch one, its to pass the time; and maybe one day I'll hit the jackpot and find that one series that really hits me. Tsukigakirei is one of those. Story - 10) Granted its not the most original of plotlines, Ive seen plenty other shows with the same premise. HOWEVER, tsukigakirei pulled it off. FUCKING FINALLY,someone did it right. The correct blend of the right characters and plot really goes a long way and this hit a fucking home run in that department. I cannot begin to tell you how long Ive been looking for a series were you have a clear decisive happy ending that shouts "FUCK YOU" to all the haters and harem enthusiasts.

Art - 7) Ok so I cant say an incredible amount about the art, its fairly standard, and- *RING RING*, "2002 called, they want their CGI back." But personally I like to think of the art as perfectly imperfect, and the story makes up for it.

Sound - 9) Yass, its good, music was excellent, fitted well, voicing and actors were well chosen gg wp and all that, sound reviews are boring.

Character - 10) Solid 10 for this, because simliar to the story, the characters arent all that original, butt, they were actually done right this time, character attitudes didn't fluctuate to fit the story, and kota was all too relatable to middle school me. The main characters all had some play in the story line and it all intertwined well.

Enjoyment - 10)
Ive basically summed up why I love this anime so much, but I think it mainly comes back to how much I could relate to it from when I was young, basically the same thing happened to me, except when my girlfreind had to move away we broke up, but I shit you not 4 years later and we're back together. I think thats why it hits home for me, because I always belived in shitty hopeful romance that never worked out until you met that one person, which is where this series works with that.

Overall - 10) Overall, no word of a lie, a true masterpiece of 2017.
